2012 NFL Draft: Did the Browns Blow It?

When mike holmgren went to Seattle as Head Coach/GM he took Ted Thompson with him. The team went nowhere until Holmgren was stripped of the GM position. Withing 2 years of it being given to Thompson the team was in the Super Bowl. Ted Thompson then moved to Green Bay and Seattle floundered. The simple fact is this, Mike Holmgren has had all of his sucess as a Head Coach. He in not a GM. Cleveland, in trying to land a big name to run the team, has sentenced itself to years of mediocrity. Oh and yes they blew it.
