Pros:
Displays above average lateral agility allowing him to make defenders miss. Runs hard breaking arm tackles along with showing good leg drive. An asset in the passing game catching the football well with his hands, running solid routes, and picking up the blitz. Effective goaline runner. Cons:
Lacks elite speed. Has the tools to be a feature back at the next level in the right situation but would need to add a little more bulk to his frame. A lot of carries over the past few seasons although not playing much early in his career kind of balances it out. Nagging knee injury is something to watch. Dishes out punishment but doesn't really have the frame to be effective doing it at the NFL level.

Draft Exchange Analysis:
Tashard is one of the most complete backs in this year's draft class. He doesn't really have ideal size or elite speed but he gets it done. His ability to feel out a crease, make his cut, and run straight ahead would be best utilized in a scheme that implements zone blocking. He has good instincts and ability to flow with his blocks but he's not necessarily all that great at manufacturing yards on his own. His all around game will allow him to get significant snaps early. One of the top sleeper RBs available.
