Pros:
Has the powerful arm ideal for the NFL level. Prototypical size for an NFL quarterback. Reads defenses well, finding the open man. Confident player who is a good leader for his team. Will take what the defense gives him, checking off to the proper play. Moves well in the pocket and has average mobility in the open field. Has shown the ability to rally his team from behind and win the close games. Classic pocket passer.
Cons:
Has a slow release that gives an edge to opposing defenses. Can be rattled by the pass rush. Not a very good thrower on the run.
