1
RB | Reggie Bush* USC XVAL= 101.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 205 n/a Top10 |
| Pros:Marquee type running back, possibly the best player in college football. Can take over a game and rally his team to victory. Able to be used as a receiver, running back and return man which makes him an instant contributor on any team. Has a great change of direction ability and can make unseen cuts at tremendous speeds. The most electrifying player in the NCAA to watch over the last 2 years with tremendous upside. Cons:Surrounded by an outstanding team. Bush has also shared the ball with LenDale White, so his durability has not been tested. Not a small back but for teams looking for a power runner, Bush might not be the ticket. |
|
2
QB | Matt Leinart USC XVAL= 99.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 220 4.70 Top10 |
| Pros:Took over from a Heisman winner and immediately improved the offense. He is the consummate winner. Great leader, decision maker, intelligent and knows an offense inside and out. Tall with a strong build and muscular structure, good pocket presence, can shrug off a defender. Good overall mechanics. Knows where his receivers are and makes his progressions well. Basically does all the fundamentals very well. Cons:Although statistically accuracy above average, many of his passes tend to be thrown high, forcing his talented receivers to jump for the ball leaving them vulnerable. His arm strength is adequate but nothing special. He lacks great mobility, even though his straight line speed is average (4.8-4.9), he is not a very natural or fluid runner and lacks escapability in the pocket. Benefitted from being on the best team in the country every year playing behind a dominating OL and very talented receivers, complemented by amazing RB talent.

3
DE | Mario Williams* North Carolina State XVAL= 99.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'7" 295 4.67 Top10 |
| Pros:Has a deadly combination of size amd speed. A long body that can help him win battles against slower and short offensive tackles. Uses his arms well. Explosive off the snap, and truly a pass rushing phenom in the 4-3. Cons:Has not picked up all the skills needed to be the among the best in the NFL. Needs to play lower or will be out-leveraged by strong offensive players. Doesn't translate as well as a 3-4 DE despite his size. Not as good as he needs to be against the run. |
|
4
OT | D'Brick Ferguson Virginia XVAL= 98.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 312 n/a Top10 |
| Pros:Amazing pass blocker, great hands, very quick, reacts well against the blitz. Very athletic for an OT, good feet, can get to outside rushers, good extension.
Cons:Could add some weight, might need to bulk up to be as effective as possible, needs to fine tune run blocking. |
|
5
OLB | A.J. Hawk Ohio State XVAL= 98.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 248 4.5 Top10 |
| Pros:Tough as nails and will deliver a hit, reads plays well, and possesses great speed. Terrific speed and can make plays anywhere on the field. Plays with intensity and has great discipline. Solid tackling form. Cons:His tendency to overpursue has caused him to be out of position at times. A bit raw in coverage. Played with a great defense all around him at Ohio St. |
|
6
TE | Vernon Davis* Maryland XVAL= 98.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 263 4.38 Top10 |
| Pros:INCREDIBLE athlete, Very fast for his size, set all the TE records at Maryland for lifting, only 3% body fat, great receiving skills, will go and get the ball rather than wait for it to come to him, rarely drops passes, can find the hole in zones, workout warrior Cons:Could work on his blocking, only average blocker, not the biggest TE compared to Lewis or Pope and has limited potential in terms of getting bigger, needs to refine his techniques and keep getting better |
|
7
QB | Jay Cutler Vanderbilt XVAL= 98.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 226 4.77 Top10 |
| Pros:Prototype size; has got a great arm that can make any throw; tough pocket passer who will stand inside the pocket until the last moment to make the throw, great mechanics with a compact release and good holding and releasing points, does a good job of going through his progressions, has great mobility and can do damage with his feet when needed (averaged 350 rushing yards a year in his career), very durable, good accuracy, has carried the very limited Vanderbilt team on his back and led them to a great 4-0 start this year; amazing leader who was named Team Captain 3 times, can make an accurate throw on the run; has lots of experience starting at QB for 4 years Cons:Sometimes forces throws into coverages; needs some work on his deep ball accuracy, footwork could use improvement, his stats do not pop out but that is because he has played with almost no help on offense, can take unnecessary risks |
|
8
QB | Vince Young* Texas XVAL= 97.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 229 n/a Top10 |
| Pros:Great scrambling ability, great speed for his size and position; throws good passes while on the move; is a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball, one of football's most exciting players the last years; tremendous size and strength. Cons:Intelligence is a definite concern, and whether he can grasp an NFL playbook; there are still questions about his accuracy; awkward release where his elbow is near his waste (side delivery) instead of over the top; poor decision making skills; has played out of the shotgun throughout his career at Texas. |
|
9
OT | Winston Justice* USC XVAL= 90.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'6" 319 n/a Top20 |
| Pros:At 6'6 300, Justice has the athletic tools to develop into a great all around OT that can be a reliable starter in the NFL for years, very mobile and extremely dominant when it comes to pass protection, started his true freshman season which is extremely rare for an offensive lineman at USC. Cons:He will need to be locked in a wieght room before he attemps to challenge some of the stronger defensive linemen in the NFL, Character is a HUGE question mark for Justice as he was suspended from the team and school for all of the 2004 season for pointing a gun at a student and charged with picking up a prostitute during the summer of 2004. |
|
10
SS | Michael Huff Texas XVAL= 90.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 200 4.36 Top20 |
| Pros:Has a knack for finding the ball, great tackler, has great range, he can play either S or CB but should play S in the pros, can deliver the big hit; is great coming on blitzes closing well on the QB, great athlete with good change of direction ability and acceleration to recover; is a playmaker. Cons:Some teams do not like 'tweeners' as they feel the player won't find its true position, does not have the best speed, can sometimes be caught overpursuing in running plays. Doesn't play as fast as his forty would lead you to believe. |
|
11
DT | Haloti Ngata* Oregon XVAL= 89.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 338 5.12 Top20 |
| Pros:Has the size to totally take away an opponents inside running game, If he turns in a 4.8 40 in the combine he will prove himself to be an extremely rare athlete and possible top 5 pick, has excellent lower body strength which allows him to make plays in the back field and disrupt any gameplan, His defensive line coach at Oregon claims that Ngata is the best athlete to ever come through the school, Upside through the roof and could be an instant elite DT
Cons: Was derailed his sophomore season by an ACL tear but has recovered nicely from it, like most DTs his size he has been accused of taking plays off due to fatigue |
|
12
WR | Chad Jackson* Florida XVAL= 89.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 213 4.32 Top20 |
| Pros:Crisp route runner, sure handed WR, good size (sculpted) and wowed scouts with top end speed; great all-around WR. Can be a threat in the vertical passing game (22.3 yards per catch in his sophomore year) or be a moving the chains guy, has been the 'safety valve' of star QB Chris Leak. Cons:Needs some refining in his techniques, especially getting away from defenders in the first 5 yards, and needs to stay consistent. "What you see is what you get" type of WR. |
|
13
DT | Brodrick Bunkley Florida State XVAL= 89.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 306 n/a Top20 |
| Pros:Has really emerged in his senior year. A major pass-rushing force, and one of the best penetrating tackles in the draft. Can rip through blocks with ease and blow up running plays before they even get started (2nd in the nation with 23 tackles for loss). Tremendous muscle mass for his body, has really bulked up over the last 6 months. Cons:Can sometimes try to get away with arm tackles, and doesn't always wrap up. Has been injured in the past, and hasn't been very consistent. Needs to continue to bulk up to play NT in the 3-4. |
|
14
CB | Jimmy Williams Virginia Tech XVAL= 88.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 213 4.47 Top20 |
| Pros:Great size and speed, covers well and has burst to recover when needed. Very willing in run support. Cons:Switched from S to corner, just needs more time to get even better. Wasn't as god in 2005 as he was in 2004. |
|
15
OLB | Chad Greenway Iowa XVAL= 87.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 242 4.75 Top20 |
| Pros:Prototypical size, and great football speed. Rarely misses a tackle, has a nose for the football and thus amassed over 110 tackles both his junior and senior years. Even though he tackles amazingly well he still has very soft hands and had 3 INT (one returned for a TD) in 2004. Is great in coverage having defended 5 passes already this year. Should make an impact in any team right off the bat. He is good enough to be able to cover TEs by himself with his size and speed combo. Has very quick reactions and closes well on the ball carrier. Does everything well. Cons:Because of the amount of great LBs in this draft he has somewhat fallen off the radar. His timed speed is also not the best compared to other LBs. Strength was disappointing at combine so there is some questions now on whether he can get off blocks at the next level. Had a poor showing at the combine, but rebounded with a strong Pro Day. |
|
16
CB | Tye Hill Clemson XVAL= 81.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'10" 185 4.30 Top32 |
| Pros:Blazing fast for a CB (supposed to run in the high 4.2s); has had a great career so far (had 30 passes defended between 2003 and 2004); QBs do not throw much to his side showing they're scared of him, true shutdown corner that wont allow big gains; great recovery speed; does not need a safety for help on passes, identifies routes very well. Cons:Is only a generous 5"10, which could drag down his other great attributes as the NFL WRs continue to get bigger and stronger. Does not have the best hands and sometimes misses easy interceptions; can gamble jumping routes allowing some passes to be completed. Has not faced the best WRs in NCAA. Sometimes relies too much on his athletic ability to cover, is not as physical as you would like. |
|
17
RB | DeAngelo Williams Memphis XVAL= 81.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'9" 214 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Strong runner who is a proven workhorse. Can burst through a line and accelerate for big gains. Has consistently been flirting with the rushing title the past 3 years. Cons:A little on the short side (shade under 5'9"), and at times he can be stopped. Knees and ankles have been banged up over the years although no serious injuries. Played weaker competition consistently over his career. |
|
18
OT | Marcus McNeill Auburn XVAL= 80.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'8" 336 5.07 Top32 |
| Pros:at 6'8, 340 he is the definition of a giant. Excellent run blocker who can punish a DL on any level. Very strong at first contact and tries to drive through the player on every play. He can hold a clinic on how to pancake opponents. Hasn't given up a sack in 41 straight games. Cons:Has shown weakness against pure pass rushers but with his wing span he should be able to recover from some of his mistakes. Must work on his footwork before he can truly have an all around game and be considered elite. |
|
19
WR | Santonio Holmes* Ohio State XVAL= 80.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 188 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Is one of the best route runners in the country. Is blazing fast and really strikes fear into opposing Ds. Good hands. Is also a big threat at punt and kick returns having returned some for TDs in his career, can make something happen after the catch. Cons:Inconsistency at QB has made him have less than what was expected stats. Struggled against best competition this year (when covered by Alan Zemaitis against Penn St. only had 4 catches for 41 yards 0 TDs). Can be inconsistent. |
|
20
OLB | Ernie Sims* Florida State XVAL= 80.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 234 4.50 Top32 |
| Pros:Excellent speed and a solid cover linebacker. Athletic player that has improved at each level. Strong and fast. Cons:Not the ideal size at linebacker. Need to use be more aggresive and involved on running plays. |
|
21
DE | Kamerion Wimbley Florida State XVAL= 80.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 248 4.61 Top32 |
| Pros:Decent size with great speed off the edge. A durable player who works hard. Had a strong senior season. Has enough speed to possibly play LB in the 3-4. Cons:May be overwhelmed in the NFL. Will need to bulk up to be successful in the NFL. |
|
22
CB | Antonio Cromartie* Florida State XVAL= 80.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 208 4.45 Top32 |
| Pros:Tremendous height, and top attributes for his size. Great ball skills, and an all-around solid cover corner. Is able to play the run adequately as well, rare specimen for the CB position. Cons:Injury history and doesn't have that much experience. Scouts are also wondering whether he can get back his speed from before the injury. |
|
23
FS | Jason Allen Tennessee XVAL= 80.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 209 4.39 Top32 |
| Pros:Team captain as a junior. Good size and a ball-hawking playmaker. Has played both S and CB. Solid run support guy. Had a great impact on the Tennessee defense, as they have struggled immensely without him in 2005. Cons:Needs to get placed in one position and stick with it. Injury history as he missed most of 2005. |
|
24
RB | Laurence Maroney* Minnesota XVAL= 80.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'0" 217 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Has put up crazy stats game in and game out during his career for the Gophers. Runs hard and fast, and will always gain positive yardage. Can run it inside and outside. Plays great in crunch time, and has been able to continue to gain yardage even when defenses stack up against him. Cons:Can have problems holding on to the ball. Is a bit frale, but has been working out a lot to get ready. Barber also had great numbers at Minnesota a year earlier, and when Maroney wasn't in, his backups were able to run great as well, meaning some of his success may be due to the Minnesota system. |
|
25
TE | Leonard Pope* Georgia XVAL= 80.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'8" 258 4.65 Top32 |
| Pros:"Unheard of" height and uses it to his advantage, uses his body well, hard to out-jump, a big mismatch, can and will stretch the field, massive hands that don't drop many passes. Cons:Blocking skills are in question, needs to be more physical for his size, needs to get tougher, could add some more weight on his frame if need be. |
|
26
OLB | Bobby Carpenter Ohio State XVAL= 80.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 256 4.66 Top32 |
| Pros:Ideal size and strength, great at stuffing the run, and good at point of attack. A sure tackler, able to shed blocks well, and can disrupt plays well with his blitzing ability. Cons:Doesn't possess top-end speed like some of the other LBs in this year's class. Has been surrounded by a great supporting cast at OSU, particularly Lombardi winner and All-American A.J. Hawk. |
|
27
DE | Mathias Kiwanuka Boston College XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'6" 256 4.75 Top32 |
| Pros:Great frame with prototypical speed, is a pass rushing phenom and a quarterback's nightmare. Tons of potential. Cons:Needs to add some weight and work on refining some parts of his game. |
|
28
OLB | DeMeco Ryans Alabama XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 236 4.62 Top32 |
| Pros:Nose for the ball and is a leader of a defense that is one of the best in college football. Very, very intelligent both as a student athlete and as a player reading offenses. Sure tackler. Cons:Doesn't have top physical attributes. Only average size and speed are Ryans' only weaknesses. He can add some weight but at the likely detriment of his speed. |
|
29
OT | Eric Winston Miami (FL) XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'7" 310 4.94 Top32 |
| Pros:Similar to Robert Gallery, Winston was a former TE and has the athleticisim to be very effective in pass protection. At 6'7, 310 he has the prototypical size of a franchise LT and should hear his name early in Round 1. Great run blocker and has long arms and uses them properly for pass protection.
Cons:He is coming off of a serious ACL tear that sidelined him all of last year and caused him to have a very rusty start this year. Had a horrible game against Florida State where that line allowed 9 sacks, but now he is starting to regain his dominance. Needs refinement in his techniques and doesn't have the greatest footwork. |
|
30
OLB | Manny Lawson North Carolina State XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 241 4.43 Top32 |
| Pros:ATHLETIC, has seen time at both DE and OLB, amazing speed and athleticism for the position, very quick off the bal; great pass rusher with long reach. Cons:Tweener at both DE or OLB, could add some weight, not very strong, needs to get better against the run, overshadowed by Mario Williams. |
|
31
DE | Tamba Hali Penn State XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 265 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Strong work ethic, solid pass rusher as he has the strength to rip through blocks and the speed and athleticism to get to the QB quickly. Doesn't give up on plays and is an adequate run stopper as well. Cons:Could add some weight to his frame for the 4-3 or lose weight if he does make the switch to the 3-4 OLB which is unlikely after the pro day weigh-in (263). Sometimes doesn't wrap up well on tackles. Just needs more experience to get even better. |
|
32
WR | Sinorice Moss Miami XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'8" 185 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Electrifying WR with blazing speed. Can turn a 5 yard pass to a 90 yard TD. Has great moves. Good route runner. Can harass defensive backs and dominate games. Cons:Does not have great stats and has not produced as expected (never had more than 50 catches in a season). Sometimes drops some easy balls. Only 5'8". tall. |
|
33
CB | Johnathan Joseph* South Carolina XVAL= 79.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 193 4.31 Top32 |
| Pros:Excellent athlete. Impressive speed and quickness that gives him the immediate advantage. 2005 was his first full year as starter and Joseph suprised many. Very underrated and has gone under the radar until now. Cons:Because of his lack of experience, Joseph is still a bit raw. He will have to be a quick learner coming into the NFL after his junior season, especially with the depth at CB this year. Average size, and has gotten by on purely athleticism for the most part. |
|
34
CB | Richard Marshall* Fresno State XVAL= 79.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 189 4.41 Top32 |
| Pros:Physical corner who can matchup well against bigger receivers in man-to-man. Excellent hitter and tackler. Big part of a very solid Fresno State defense. 3 year starter at Fresno even though he's a junior declaree. Cons:Can get lost on pass plays. Doesn't try to pick up the ball as much as he should. |
|
35
C | Nick Mangold Ohio State XVAL= 78.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 300 5.05 Top32 |
| Pros:Heady leader of the OSU line, who possesses adequate strength and good athleticism. Great durability and toughness. Very capable of pulling and running other stunts. Cons:Can be overtaken by mammoth NTs, and needs to continue to get bigger and stronger to adjust to the NFL level. Needs to hit his man quickly to have the upper hand, and can get out of his rhythm if he starts to get beat off the snap. |
|
36
RB | LenDale White* USC XVAL= 78.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 238 n/a Top32 |
| Pros:Very powerful runner between the tackles; it is very hard to bring him down and knows how to and when to sqaure his shoulders; his feet always keep moving which helps him move the pile. Effective breakaway speed in the open; has good hands and is a solid target in the passing game although he is frequently replaced in those situations by Reggie Bush. Might be the best goalline rusher in the country (has 19 TDs this year, 47 in his career). As he has never carried the full load he has less mileage on his legs than Cedric Benson, for example, had last year. Terrific size; a big load to bring down. Cons:Because of Reggie Bush being in the same team he has gone somewhat unnoticed compared to other RBs. Dedication certainly is a question, and has been known to have problems maintaining his weight and keeping up with the lifting regimen. Does not have the speed of other RBs. Might go lower than he should because of the RB talent in this year's draft. |
|
37
OLB | Thomas Howard UTEP XVAL= 72.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 240 4.42 Round2 |
| Pros:Has great size and speed, one of the fastest LBs in the draft. Great agility and acceleration, and can read and react to plays well. Good in coverage, as he was a defensive back prior to being converted to an OLB. Cons:Needs to continue to get experience at the position, and refine his tackling technique. Needs to get stronger, and sometimes has trouble with blockers. |
|
38
SS | Donte Whitner* Ohio St. XVAL= 72.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'10" 205 4.42 Round2 |
| Pros:Hard hitter who shows up every game, consistent player. Shows the ability to make the big play in big times. Vocal guy who makes his presence felt. Intelligent player with a good work ethic. Cons:Not the biggest guy, doesn't have top athletic skills, and not very experienced (21 years old and 2005 was his only full season starting). |
|
39
RB | Joseph Addai LSU XVAL= 72.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 215 4.40 Round2 |
| Pros:Powerful runner that is tough to bring down, and has enough speed to break long runs. Very good receiver and also solid in pass-protection. Plays with a tremendous amount of heart and desire. Cons:Was never the featured back at LSU, and still has to prove that he could carry the full-time load. Has had some minor injury troubles in the past. Not very elusive in the open field. |
|
40
DT | Gabe Watson Michigan XVAL= 71.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 339 5.25 Round2 |
| Pros:Giant NT with the ability to both stuff the run and collapse a pocket, will give smaller guards and centers fits with his physical style of play and mean streak, demands atleast a double team on every play which frees up all the players around him to make plays, Perfect for the 3-4 with the likeness of players such as Casey Hampton, Sam Adams, and Ted Washington Cons:Has been accused of taking far too many plays off and being lazy, does not have much of a motor and may have to be replaced on long drives, though he can collapse a pocket he sometimes is very ineffective on passing downs due to fatigue |
|
41
CB | Kelly Jennings Miami (FL) XVAL= 71.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'11" 178 4.4 Round2 |
| Pros:Speedy corner who is faster than most 6 foot cornerbacks. He's got excellent cover skills and has improved at every level. Has fared well against some outstanding receivers. Great hip turn with top agility and athleticism. Cons:Jennings sometimes relies too much on his speed. He needs to learn to become more physical. Pretty frale for his size, and weighed in as the lightest person at the combine. |
|
42
WR | Maurice Stovall Notre Dame XVAL= 71.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 217 4.58 Round2 |
| Pros:Terrific size and uses it to his advantage. Has adequate speed, and faster than most his size. Great leaper who can make the catch all over the field. Great blocker. Cons:Doesn't have top end speed, and can drop the easy balls. Has his lapses and doesn't always play up to his potential. Needs to watch his weight or else it can affect his agility and thus his play on the field. |
|
43
OG | Charles Spencer Pittsburgh XVAL= 71.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 352 5.28 Round2 |
| Pros:Versatile player with good size and wingspan. He converted from defensive line to play tackle and guard for the Panthers. Expected to be drafted at guard but may be able to move as needed. Cons:Needs much more experience and refinement. Gets by on physical attributes and hard work. |
|
44
FS | Ko Simpson* South Carolina XVAL= 71.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 209 4.45 Round2 |
| Pros:Versatile, productive, good in all aspects of DB play. Still tapping his potential. Good size and frame. Has experience and maturity despite being an underclassman. Cons:Doesn't have top end speed and struggles in agility drills, has excelled against weaker competition. Just needs to get better in general with experience, still a bit raw. |
|
45
WR | Derek Hagan Arizona State XVAL= 71.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 208 4.42 Round2 |
| Pros:Strong hands and agile body. Can leap over defenders and get the ball; very productive WR who has shattered many records in ASU. Surprised scouts with a very impressive 40 at the combine (4.42). Cons:Is not a real deep threat - mainly a possession WR. Thought to have good hands, Hagan has scouts questioning his receiving ability after many dropped passes in both the Senior Bowl and Combine practices. |
|
46
SS | Daniel Bullocks Nebraska XVAL= 71.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 212 4.38 Round2 |
| Pros:Great speed, and has a knack for making plays. Follows his identical twin brother, Josh Bullocks, who left college one year early and had a good year in NO. Can make the big hit. Adjusts well and is very coachable. Trains hard. Cons:Not as developed a his brother as a safety. Needs to continue to bulk up and become a better player in all aspects of the position. Sometimes over-pursues and bites on play action. Must improve consistency of effort both from game to game and from start to finish. |
|
47
OT | Daryn Colledge Boise State XVAL= 71.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 299 5.05 Round2 |
| Pros:One of the best tackles coming out in 2006. Strong off the snap and dominates in pass protection. Very good run blocker as well and moves as well as any tackle in the draft.
Cons:At only 300 pounds, Colledge can stand to add weight to his frame. Some would argue that Boise State does not see a regular diet of top teams so his competition has been a notch below.
|
|
48
CB | Ashton Youboty* Ohio State XVAL= 71.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'0" 189 4.44 Round2 |
| Pros:Has the height to match up well with recievers. Athletic player who has the speed to stay with most recievers and can outleap WRs for balls. Played well on special teams. Very smart defender. Cons:Inconsistent player. Rather frail, and needs to bulk up in, luckily he has the frame to do so. Stronger receivers can have their way with him. Can get burned deep. A bit raw, and may need a year or two to develop. |

| Pros:Sure tackler, has no problem shedding blockers, has a nose for the ball, solid blitzer, very durable, good in coverage, great range making plays sideline to sideline Cons:Short for the position, average speed only, numbers could be inflated due to him having to make all the plays. |
|
51
CB | Cedric Griffin Texas XVAL= 70.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'0" 199 4.55 Round2 |
| Pros:Versatile defensive back who can play cornerback or safety. He's a hitter so he can stay in the game in pass or run situations. Good size. Cons:Not a big playmaker, isn't a pure corner or safety. |

MLB | Abdul Hodge Iowa XVAL= 70.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 236 4.75 Round2 |
| Pros:Hard working, fiery captain on a good Iowa defense. Great tackler, and possesses terrific lateral speed to get to any play. Nicknamed "Hitman" for his LB abilities. One of the better prospects as a run support linebacker. Cons:Can struggle in coverage at times, and can sometimes get over-agressive in his style. Not very fast or agile and not as tall as listed (6'0.5"). Just needs to polish his overall skills at the position. |
|

OG | Davin Joseph Oklahoma XVAL= 70.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 311 5.09 Round2 |
| Pros:A versatile offensive lineman that has played center, guard and tackle. His NFL position is likely to be guard where he will be an excellent run blocker and able to move along the line(good footwork). Davin works hard and has excelled at every position he has played. Cons:He needs to add some bulk and play lower to handle the premier defensive tackles in the NFL.. His upper body lacks the strength to fight off opposing players that get under him. |
|
55
DT | Claude Wroten LSU XVAL= 70.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 305 n/a Round2 |
| Pros:Great jump off the snap, and a great penetrating tackle. Also stout in run defense and has solid tackling technique when he gets into the backfield often to blow up plays. Has been part of a top LSU DL the past 2 years. Cons:A JUCO transfer and doesn't have as much football experience as many. LSU has been putting defensive linemen into the NFL like no other the last few years, including Jarvis Green, Marquise Hill, and Marcus Spears, so one has to wonder whether the defensive system has something to do with it. |
|
56

|
59
OT | Ryan O'Callaghan California XVAL= 70.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'7" 344 5.37 Round2 |
| Pros:A big man with good athletic ability and refined technique. Punishing run blocker and capable pass blocker. Ideal fit for a team who needs a quality right tackle. Cons:May have to make some adjustments if lined up against the best NFL edge rushers as he lacks quickness. Has weathered some injuries (broken wrist/concussuion). |
|
60
TE | Dominique Byrd USC XVAL= 70.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 255 n/a Round2 |
| Pros:Good size and great speed for his size, can stretch the field, breaks tackles easily, can make big plays, great hands, doesn’t drop many passes, athletic, good blocker, solid at the point of attack. Cons:Durability a concern, has had a few injuries his career, has had a few off field problems, not very productive stats-wise. Came into the combine a bit out of shape. |
|
61
TE | Marcedes Lewis UCLA XVAL= 69.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'6" 261 4.8 Round2 |
| Pros:Great size, good speed, can strech the field, soft hands, excellent red zone target, knows how to use his body and create mismatches. Can line up at receiver and gets the ball at the highest point. Solid run blocker, gives a lot of effort. Cons:Not a great pass blocker, needs to get stronger, could stand to add a little more weight. Just needs to keep working on his game and keep getting better. Disappointed in the combine with a bad 40, and his stock continues to drop. |
|
62
OT | Andrew Whitworth Louisiana State XVAL= 69.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'7" 334 5.15 Round2 |
| Pros:Solid run blocker who creates huge lanes for rushers, uses his size advantage over opponents very well, has huge upside and could develope into an elite tackle in the NFL for years, has started 39 games and counting in the tough SEC so injuries do not appear to be a problem with him.
Cons:Just like most OTs his size he has problems with pure pass rushers. If he can't develop his pass protection he may have to be moved from LT to RT but could be extremely effective from both positions. |
|
63
DT | Jonathan Lewis Virginia Tech XVAL= 69.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 309 4.97 Round2 |
| |
64
OT | Jon Scott Texas XVAL= 62.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'6" 305 n/a Round3 |
| Pros:Nice frame that can add wieght to it without losing quickness. Has shown ability to be both a punishing run blocker and effective pass protector. Has solidified himself as one of the best offensive linemen to come out of the Big 12 while facing some of the best defensive linemen in the nation for four years as a starter. Cons:Will need to get stronger in order to be prepared for some of the bigger, stronger defensive linmen in the NFL. Has the quickness needed to match speed rushers but is not very strong at first contact. |
|
65
OT | Jeremy Trueblood Boston College XVAL= 62.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'8" 316 5.25 Round3 |
| Pros:Terrific size, massive stature, and a very intimidating opponent. Great wingspan to take on defenders. Plays with a mean streak, and a hard working smart player with a load of experience. Cons:Sometimes struggles to get the right leverage due to his height. Doesn't show great footwork and overall isn't a very nimble player. Not as strong as you'd expect for someone his size and struggles with quicker DL. |
|
66
OLB | Terna Nande Miami (OH) XVAL= 62.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'0" 232 4.51 Round3 |
| Pros:Great measurables... tremendously strong (41 reps), sub 4.5 speed, and a 36.5" vertical. Very good in pass rushing and coverage. Experienced player who knows his job and does it well. Cons:Doesn't have ideal size, doesn't always show proper tackling technique, and has struggles reading plays at times. Still questions regarding him as an NFL prospect and how polished he is for the next level. |
|
67
DE | Ray Edwards* Purdue XVAL= 62.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 273 4.79 Round3 |
| Pros:Good size, particularly height. Shows good moves at point of attack to get by blockers. Able to blow up plays in the backfield. Great at getting his arms up at the release of the ball. Can be downright unblockable at times. Has the frame to continue to add weight. Is only a junior, but has a good amount of experience. Cons:Not always as dominant as he's shown he can be. Doesn't rack up many tackles, and usually isn't involved in run plays unless he's able to get to the play in the backfield. Overpursues run plays often and can get too involved in his blocker or what the QB is doing. Overall, needs to continue to polish his game, particularly in run support. |
|
68
DE | Victor Adeyanju Indiana XVAL= 62.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |

| |
70
WR | Martin Nance Miami (OH) XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 208 4.58 Round3 |
| Pros:Good size-speed combo at 6'5" and is rumored to have run as low as 4.35. Can totally dominate games with his ability. Will use his size to fight off receivers for the ball. Is a great red-zone target (14 TDs this year) and rarely drops balls. Cons:Average leaping ability (34.5 inches); was injured seriously in the 2004 season which forced him to miss all of the season. Sometimes he catches the ball more with his body than his hands. Can lose his focus sometimes and have an off game. Speed is not as great as was thought. |
|
71
QB | Charlie Whitehurst Clemson XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 223 4.7 Round3 |
| Pros:Prototypical size and frame with great potential, but after this season, potential is all he is. Has shown good speed and leadership. Cons:Really hit a wall junior year - after a promising first 2 outings, did not hold up well. Can make very boneheaded throws at times. Not the best decision maker at times. |
|
72
FS | Pat Watkins Florida State XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 211 4.42 Round3 |
| Pros:Playmaker at safety, can read plays superbly and shows great athleticism and hands to get to balls to pick them off. Great height and shows very good speed as well. Prototypical size once he continues to put on muscle. Willing in run support. Cons:More lanky than built, but has the frame to continue to add weight. Hasn't faired as well in man coverage, and plays his man with a lot of cushion. Just needs to continue to polish his overall game and get stronger. |
|

| Pros:Good size and quickness and has the frame to continue to add bulk. Great leaping ability and adjusts well to make great catches. A major deep threat. Cons:Doesn't have great 40 speed, and needs to continue to bulk up. Much of his success is on the deep ball. Can get beat on the jam often. Injury history. Needs to continue to polish his overall skills. |
|
75
TE | Tim Day Oregon XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 256 4.78 Round3 |
| Pros:Great size with lots of potential. Productive pass catcher, lines up in the slot as a WR occasionally, can get downfield, good speed, great hands, doesn’t drop passes, red zone target, good strength, breaks tackles easily, can turn short plays into long ones, good run blocker, controls his man well, good pass blocker as well. Cons:Has had a few minor injuries in the past, dropoff in production because of QB injuries, lacks intensity, needs to just keep working on techniques and get better. Still hasn't tapped hid potential and his dedication is starting to become a concern. |
|
76
WR | Hank Baskett New Mexcio XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 224 4.49 Round3 |
| Pros:Incredible size, hand-eye coordination, disciplined, hard working WR who rarely drops a ball, can dominate games like this year against Missouri (10 catches 209 yards 3 TDs), could become a great red-zone target in a NFL team as he also has an amazing leap (high jump champion). Cons:Speed isn't his forte, hasn't put up the red zone stats you would expect with his size; very inconsistent with games over 150 receiving yards and some under 15. Could use some refinement in his route running. Physical, but not a great blocker in the run game. Didn't fair as well against better competition and consistently played weak competition. |
|
77
RB | Jerome Harrison Washington St. XVAL= 61.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'9" 201 4.47 Round3 |
| Pros:Tremendous cutback ability, very swift and agile, and can make a defense look silly. Great vision and very good between the tackles despite his size. Good, not great, speed and a strong lower body; solid overall running back. Cons:Not the greatest speed, and has been known to get caught from behind, or get fatigued at the end of a long run. Not as tall as you'd like and doesn't have top measurables overall. |

C | Greg Eslinger Minnesota XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 292 5.13 Round3 |
| Pros:All-American for the Gophers with tremendous experience and will work and work to get the job done. Good footwork, a quick solid punch, and strong for his size. Outstanding prospect who is very intelligent in a position that requires it. Cons:Needs to add weight as he is undersized for the pros. Has not had a lot of experience pass blocking for the run-happy Golden Gophers. Throughout his career has been a part of a zone-blocking scheme, somehing only a few NFL teams run, and is easier on the OLmen. |
|
82
RB | DonTrell Moore New Mexico XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
5'10" 210 4.6 Round3 |
| Pros:Good speed, strong, very quick, shifty runner, good field vision, and attacks the hole well. Very productive over his career. Cons:Needs to improve pass blocking skills, be more of a physical player, didn't play against top talent. Doesn't have very good speed despite his athleticism being his main strength. |
|
83
SS | Bernard Pollard* Purdue XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 224 4.59 Round3 |
| Pros:Top notch size, very physical, and a great physical presence. Playmaker in coverage, and shows sure hands when going for passes. Good special teamer. Cons:Not an overall good cover guy, and can have lapses resulting in big plays. Doesn't attack plays as often as just lets them come to him. Only a junior, so experience is another question. |
|
84
FS | Nate Salley Ohio State XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 216 4.65 Round3 |
| Pros:Great height, and can lay the wood better than most. Plays his position well, and doesn't make many mistakes. Experienced starter with great work ethic. Cons:Has had injury history, and doesn't excel at any one aspect of play. Can get sloppy in coverage at times, and is known to rely heavily on the work of his teammates. Surrounded with talent at OSU. |
|
85
CB | Alan Zemaitis Penn State XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'1" 194 4.5 Round3 |
| Pros:Solid in man coverage, great at breaking up plays, is a solid tackler and stellar in run support. Has good recovery speed and can make the hit. A balanced, well-rounded defender. Cons:His speed isn't the greatest and can cause some difficulties. Has some troubles with dropping ints, but won't give up the play. Mostly played man to man in college so he may struggle to adjust to zone in the pros. Has trouble with shifty, agile WRs. |
|
86
QB | Brodie Croyle Alabama XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 205 4.87 Round3 |
| Pros:Big arm that can make all the throws, prototype size at 6’3”; has great leadership qualities; is very gutsy: tries to play injured and after a hit will always get up; good touch and accuracy, very poised; has good awareness inside the pocket and enough agility to step up and make his throws. Cons:He is injured a lot, a lot. Since 2003 he has had a broken rib, injured shoulder and torn ACL. Is not as polished throwing as other prospects. Sometimes throws into coverages and needs to learn how to read them. Might need to bulk up from 200 lbs. |
|

| |
88
DE | Stanley McClover* Auburn XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'3" 262 4.64 Round3 |
| Pros:Type of DE who may be more of an asset flying in off the edge. Can handle his own on run plays. Very athletic and a cut frame that can add muscle. Cons:Needs to work on strength and endurance, not as great as he needs to be on run stopping. Came up a bit short of expectations at the combine (4.6 as opposed to the rumored 4.45s). |
|
89
OT | Joe Toledo Washington XVAL= 61.0    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'5" 337 5.11 Round3 |
| Pros:Good speed, agility, reach, and footwork. Has really put on weight since moving to tackle, but has put it on well. Good size, and from a physical standpoint, is solid. Lots of potential and just starting to tap it. Cons:Needs to continue to gain experience and get better at the position; still raw. Not as strong on the field as in the weight room. Durability may also be a concern. |

| |
91
OG | Max Jean-Gilles Georgia XVAL= 60.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'4" 355 5.47 Round3 |
| Pros:Has the ability to wear down a defensive lineman through out the course of a game and take away his drive, has played both OT and OG but will most likely play OG in the NFL similar to Shawn Andrews, emotional leader on the field. Cons:Will need to put an extra effort in conditioning to keep up on the next level, as his weight could be an issue. Can have trouble with quicker DL. Very slow and unagile, and proved it at the combine. |
|

| Pros:Body of a safety, hits like a linebacker. Solid tackler who plays instinctively. Physical guy you want on your side. Comes from a line of safeties at Georgia who have all been drafted in the first day of the draft. Cons:Seems lost in coverage. Lacking in speed. Looks for the run and can get beat on mis-direction and play fakes. |

6'7" 318 5.50 Round3 |
| Pros:Punishing run blocker with very good strength. Shows great form, and has emerged into one of the better centers in the nation. Terrific size and uses it well. Good footwork and quickness, very nimble for a big man. Versatile, consistent and experienced. Cons:Hasn't been playing top competition at New Mexico, and hasn't been tested in the passing game as often as you'd expect due to NM being a primarily run-oriented offense. Has been surrounded by one of the better OLs in the nation, and a very productive back. |
|

| Pros:Solid pass rushing tackle, very quick off the line. Disruptive force that shows good moves to beat OL, and is very agile for the position. Thick body with solid power. Cons:Needs more experience, particularly in the run game. Can get overpowered by bigger OL, and has shown poor tackling technique at times, such as an abundance of arm tackles. Not very tall. |
|
97
DE | Darryl Tapp Virginia Tech XVAL= 60.5    | HEIGHT WEIGHT 40 TIME Projected |   |
6'2" 262 4.8 Round3 |
| Pros:One of the top rated pass rushers of the draft, makes up for his lack of size with his athletic ability. Uses his ability and size to expose slow footed OTs, leader on the field with a nonstop motor that his teammates feed off of. Cons:Has bulked up over the spring but is still undersized for a defensive lineman, At 6'1 268 he is the exact same size as Dwight Freeny but does not appear to have level of abilities just yet. |
|
